Day one of your Perfect Pairings Gourmet Getaway begins the moment you check into the Sedona Bed and Breakfast of your choice.  And what a selection of inns! You can choose to be ensconced in greenness along bubbling Oak Creek or high atop a red rock mesa with views forever. You can choose to be in the middle of the Gallery District or miles down a country road. You can snuggle up in a cozy log cabin or luxuriate in an expansive villa. You have seventeen excellent chances to make the right choice.

Following a great night’s sleep, day two will begin with the aroma of fresh coffee and breakfast being prepared.  Relax and indulge in one of our unique and delicious breakfasts. Shortly thereafter your luxury coach will arrive to whisk you away on a tour of the burgeoning Verde Valley Wine Country. You will be visiting four local wineries where you will taste skillfully crafted wines including Syrah, Petite Syrah, Viognier, Rousanne, Zinfandel, Merlot, Chardonnay, and proprietary blends. Following your vineyard and winery tour, just as the hunger pangs return, a gourmet picnic beckons.  Your picnic baskets will be delivered to an exclusive area at the winery, set aside just for you. Sit back and revel in gourmet food, a glass of great local wine and gorgeous scenery. Then it’s back to your Bed and Breakfast to enjoy an evening on your own in Sedona. Your innkeeper will be happy to recommend dinner spots and arrange reservations.

Day three starts with another great breakfast to fortify you for a day of exploring Sedona your way. Whether you choose to take a jeep tour, go hiking, visit the galleries, visit ancient ruins or just relax at the Inn, your innkeeper will be glad to assist you with all the arrangements. Save the evening for your cooking class where a notable local chef will create a dinner menu and then guide all hands through the preparation of the gourmet feast. The superb kitchen, dining and living area of the cooking school overlooks Oak Creek, providing the ideal canvas to create your culinary masterpiece. Get as involved as you like, though it will be hard to resist the kitchen filled with Viking Professional appliances and the expert though genial instruction of the chef. There will be wine!

Day four is yours to do whatever you like. Your innkeepers have all the info you need to plan a great day in Sedona, be it shopping at Tlaquepaque, a spa service, a trolley tour or maybe a hike into a hidden canyon. There are so many things to do and see. But be sure to get back for your Chef’s Table experience at a selected local restaurant.  Plan on a leisurely evening tasting great food paired with great wine, all wrapped up with great company.  What a great night! Day five you will enjoy one last scrumptious breakfast and head for home, or choose to extend your stay to further explore the many pleasures Sedona provides. If you stay through Friday you can experience the First Friday Gallery Tour, where the Sedona Trolley provides free transportation to many of the finest galleries in town.
